This year’s new trend for bridal hair is to accentuate your hair’s natural features.  Looking your best for your wedding day takes planning.   When choosing a style it’s best to find a style that works with the texture of your hair.  Don’t fight your hair’s texture, USE IT!!!!

  •   FINE TEXTURE HAIR:  If you have fine hair, try a sophisticated bun.  You can also consider adding a clip-in hair piece.  This can give you a fabulous full updo.  When done properly nobody will know except you and I.
  • THICK TEXTURE HAIR:  If you have thick, wavy hair, try loose waves pulled half back or up.  Afraid your updo might fall out, no worries, I will usea criss-cross methodof placing bobby pins.  If your hair is long and thick, Iwill use 3 inch bobby pins instead.  You’ll be amazed how much better these hold long heavy hair!
  • CURLY TEXTURE HAIR:  If you have natural curlyhair, try a stylish updo.  Natural curls can look polished and controlled by using a curling iron and proper products.
  • STRAIGHT TEXTURE HAIR:  If you have straight hair, tryan updated version of the classic french twist,or low chignon.  We can add waves or curls with proper steps and productto ensure a long lasing style.
  • SHORT HAIR HAIR:  If you have short hair, try clip-in extentionsto create instant length.  These can easily be put in and removed all in the same day!!  Bonus, extentions can be used over and over.  Most extentions come in lengths between 12-18 inchs.  Most extentions can be cut to a desired length and style.  *Contrary to popular belief most short bob styles can be worn up, YES, this can be acheived, not by placing hair in a ponytail but, by pinning hair up section by section.  This really looks beautiful in pictures.

Looking your best for your WEDDING DAY takes planning.  Schedule your last cut and color 1-2 weeks before your weddding day.  Freshly colored and trimmed hair always looks fuller and healthier.  Add a little light to your face with a few subtle highlights around the front of your hair.  You’ll be amazed just how beautiful and refreshed you will look and feel on your big day.  This tip holds true for all those mother’s of the bride and groom.

Although, it is commonly advised not to wash your hair the day of the wedding, do what makes you feel best.  Some clients have natural oily hair, which requires daily shampooing.  If this is the case wash your hair early in the morning.  Volume and texture can be added later by me with product.  Remember you want to feel fresh and clean all day long!

If you plan on removing your veil for the reception, be sure to ORDER it with small metal combs.  These combs are easier to remove and leaves the style undisturbed.  Lastly, it is always recomened you have at least one practice or trial session before your weddding day.  By doing so you will find yourself much more relaxed that morning because you know you will be leaving the salon with the wedding hair you have dreamt about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
